Job Description : Technical Competency and Experience :
- Experties for using FEA tools such as ANSYS and ABAQUS
- In-depth knowledge and experience of design of static equipment (Heat Exchangers, Pressure Vessels) by FEA
- Mechanical Design Capabilities: Design of Static Equipment using ASME SEC. VIII Div. 1 and Div.2
- Awareness of various manufacturing processes - Welding, PWHT, Machining, Forging etc
- Awareness of process plants like Fertilizers, Refinery, Power plants & petrochemicals
- Good understanding of various standards such as TEMA, EJMA, WRC 107, WRC 297
- Other Exposures: AutoCAD
Roles And Responsibilities
- Mechanical design and analysis for development of new Products / Technology conceptualization to realization.
- Improvement of existing products functionality & life expectancy.
- Simulation of fabrication processes such as welding, rolling, PWHT, handling etc.
- To support Product Business Units for Failure Analysis, Troubleshooting & Develop Analytical Technique
- Support production centers in Welding distortion prediction
- IPR & filing of Patents. Participate in Technical paper publications, expert lectures & presentations.
