Oversee the day-to-day Security Operations of Solar and MSTPL EMC, as holistic, ensuring adherence to security, safety, and quality standards.
Monitor and report any unusual activity or discrepancies to PSH.
Participate in the meetings related to security best practices for procurement of equipment, materials, and resources necessary for site..
Ensure Material/ Manpower / Veh flow in detail and check any discrepancies.
Supervision & Coordination
Lead, check, and direct the security personnel assigned to the shift.
Ensure proper handover/takeover between shifts, with all logs and records accurately maintained.
Conduct regular briefings to security staff on their duties and any potential risks or changes in procedures.
Asset Protection
Ensure strict security protocols are enforced for the safeguarding of the assets and workforce at the site.
Conduct regular patrols and inspections of critical areas, including project areas and labour colonies.
Monitor access points, ensuring only authorized personnel are allowed entry to sensitive areas.
Incident Response.
Respond promptly and effectively to any security breaches, alarms, or incidents that arise during the shift.
Coordinate with internal departments and external law enforcement agencies, when necessary, to investigate and resolve security incidents.
Prepare incident reports and send them to the Plant Security Head.
Maintain exact records of all security related activities of MSTPL EMC, MUNDRA.
Security Systems Monitoring.
Monitor MSTPL EMC, Access Control Systems, alarm systems, and other security devices at MSTPL EMC, ISCR to detect breaches or unauthorized entries.
Report any malfunction or potential vulnerability in security systems to the relevant department for immediate repair or action. Cultivate strategic relationships with partners
People Management
Train the control room executives and ground team to achieve and improve the operational KPIs for Control room operations.
Foster an environment of learning, excellence, and innovation within the team .
Compliance and Protocols.
Ensure compliance with the company's security policies, local laws, and regulatory requirements related to the production and project management.
Ensure all security staff are adhering to company procedures, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety standards.
Emergency Preparedness
Be prepared to respond to emergencies such as fire, equipment failure, or unauthorized access swiftly and efficiently.
Coordinate with the emergency response team and follow evacuation or containment protocols, ensuring the safety of all personnel and assets.
Technology and IT Enablement
Basic Knowledge of Computers, SAP.
Work with IT department to improve and strengthen company IT/security infrastructure
Qualifications
Educational Qualification:
A bachelor's degree in security management or a related field is needed. Equivalent experience is also acceptable.
Preferable to have Certifications including Certified Protection Professional (CPP) / Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA) certification/ Physical Security Professional (PSP) / Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)/ Industrial Security professional certifications.
First Aid and emergency response training certification is also a plus.
Experiences
4 - 6 years of experience in security management, preferably in high-value asset industries such Manufacturing industries, Power Sector or high-security warehousing is preferred.
Experience handling Security Operations including Access Control, Traffic Management, Patrolling and Surveillance
Firsthand experience with designing and executing SOPs, proficiency in security assessments, audits, and investigations.
