Assistant Manager Sales Trainer
We are seeking an energetic and outcome-focused Sales Trainer who can shape the performance of our sales team across India. You will design, deliver, and evaluate high-impact training programs, enabling our sales force to communicate value effectively and contribute directly to revenue and P&L outcomes.
This role blends sales expertise, facilitation skills, instructional design, and strong business acumen.
Key Responsibilities:
1)Training & Content Development
- Build and implement a comprehensive training curriculum tailored for EdTech sales.
- Develop product knowledge sessions, sales technique modules, negotiation coaching, and objection-handling frameworks.
- Create high-quality training content presentations, manuals, e-learning modules, and simulations.
2)Facilitation & Coaching
- Conduct training for new hires and continuous development for existing teams.
- Facilitate large group sessions (50+ participants) and 1:1 targeted coaching.
- Use role-plays, case studies, and application-based learning to reinforce skills.
3)Collaboration & Needs Analysis
- Partner with sales leadership to conduct TNI/TNA and identify capability gaps.
- Adapt training content based on market shifts, product updates, and business needs.
4)Performance Measurement
- Evaluate training effectiveness using assessments, surveys, and business metrics.
- Link training outcomes directly to sales KPIs, revenue, and P&L impact.
- Continuously iterate and enhance the learner experience.
5)Industry & Market Awareness
- Stay informed on EdTech trends, customer behavior, and competitor strategies.
- Integrate relevant market insights into training programs.
6)Execution Excellence
- Show strong ownership, speed, and initiative in rolling out programs at scale.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, with proven expertise in sales training or enablement (EdTech preferred).
- Strong command of modern sales methodologies (Consultative, Solution Selling, Challenger sales).
- Experience designing sales outcomesbased training linked to P&L impact.
- Expertise in TNI/TNA, facilitation, and managing large group training sessions.
- Fluency in Tamil and/or Telugu for regional training impact.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Instructional design & e-learning development experience is a plus.
