Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Manager - Sales and Marketing in Mumbai. The candidate will be responsible for developing and managing sales strategies, building relationships with clients, identifying new market opportunities, and supporting marketing campaigns. Responsibilities include analyzing market trends, presenting insights, negotiating contracts, overseeing sales activities, and collaborating with the marketing team to create impactful campaigns to achieve revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

Sales & Business Development

·      Manage end-to-end B2B sales for folding cartons, corrugated cartons, and flexible packaging with an annual sales target.

·      Monitor market trends and share customer insights to support strategic planning.

·      Understand customer requirements from both technical and commercial perspectives.

·      Develop new business opportunities and onboard new clients.

·      Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure long-term business growth.

Operations & Coordination                                                    

·      Coordinate with design, production, and dispatch teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

·      Support payment follow-ups and maintain updated client account records.

·      Ensure timely closure of all credit notes with customers.

·      Regularly update CRM with accurate client and sales data.

·      Prepare and submit timely sales MIS reports for management review.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve overall business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Sales and Business Development experience, with a proven ability to identify leads and grow client relationships.
  • Marketing and Promotion skills, including knowledge of market research, campaign planning, and digital marketing strategies.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities to effectively engage with clients and internal teams.
  • Project Management and Operational Planning skills to execute sales and marketing initiatives efficiently.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, team management, and result-oriented approaches to drive performance.
  • Experience in the packaging or printing industry is a strong advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
