Role & responsibilities
- Responsible for procurement of consumables, MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) items, tools, and general engineering materials.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop new vendors and suppliers for better cost efficiency and quality assurance.
- Ensure timely availability of required consumables and MRO materials to avoid production downtime.
- Float inquiries, prepare comparative statements, and finalize orders based on price, quality, and delivery.
- Coordinate with user departments, stores, and accounts for material requirement, receipt, and payment follow-up.
- Negotiate with suppliers for cost reduction, credit terms, and delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, quotations, and supplier data in ERP system.
- Conduct market analysis for price trends and alternate sourcing options.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and audit requirements.
- Support inventory control and participate in periodic stock verification.

Candidate should have experience in Solar Industry with exposure to purchasing the Consumable item
