Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pump Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving business growth through sales of industrial and commercial pump solutions. The role requires strong technical knowledge of pumps, customer relationship management, and the ability to identify and convert new business opportunities across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets for pumps and related products.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets for pumps and related solutions within the designated territory/region.
  • Identify, develop, and maintain strong relationships with customers, dealers, consultants, and OEMs.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, competitors, and market trends.
  • Prepare and submit techno-commercial proposals, quotations, and tenders in line with customer requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Design, Production, and Dispatch) to ensure timely order execution and delivery.
  • Provide product presentations, technical support, and application guidance to customers.
  • Ensure timely payment collection and maintain account receivable discipline.
  • Participate in exhibitions, customer meets, and product demonstrations to enhance market visibility.
  • Regularly update CRM systems with customer data, opportunities, and sales activities.
  • Prepare monthly sales forecasts, reports, and business development plans for management review.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Education: B. Tech / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Experience: 310 years of experience in industrial or pump sales, preferably in centrifugal, submersible, or process pumps.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of pump types, selection, and applications (HVAC, utilities, water, wastewater, industrial processes, etc.)
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
  • Familiarity with pricing, costing, and commercial terms in B2B/industrial sales
