Role Description

Responsible for end-to-end procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, goods, and indirect materials to ensure cost efficiency, quality compliance, and uninterrupted supply for manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and execute procurement as per production and sales forecasts.

Issue purchase orders, rate/quantity contracts, and schedule agreements.

Evaluate quotations (QCS) and negotiate pricing, payment terms, taxes, freight, and delivery schedules.

Develop, evaluate, and manage domestic suppliers.

Ensure timely material availability through effective vendor follow-ups.

Maintain optimal inventory levels through demand forecasting.

Coordinate with Production, Quality, Warehouse, Logistics, and Finance teams.

Handle job work, contract manufacturing, and supply agreements.

Manage import procurement, documentation, and CHA coordination.

Ensure compliance with technical and regulatory documentation (COA, MSDS, specifications, GMP/WHO). Execute procurement activities through ERP systems and support process improvements.

Qualifications

MBA / Graduate (Supply Chain, Operations, Marketing preferred)

813 years of experience in Procurement / Supply Chain

Experience in Manufacturing / Agrochemical / Pharmaceutical industry preferred
