Unilever's Procurement function is a dynamic domain, entailing a spend of 34 Bn Euros, 54k suppliers and 45k employees. Procurement technology team, which enables the function with cutting edge tech solutions manages 15+ platforms and engages multiple stakeholders viz. strategy and insights, supplier ops, BG/BUs and CDIO teams.
The role is focused at delivering digital transformation and value delivery for a range of IT products under the Procurement function.
Roles & Responsibilities
Technology Transformation:
- Deliver key digital transformation programs empowering Procurement, Supplier Ops, and GBS function to meet strategic objectives. Drive the implementation and ongoing management of digital tools to enhance efficiencies. Additionally, leverage the knowledge of AI to drive business benefits.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture for end-to-end technology strategy & selection.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Technology Delivery
- Overseeing the planning, solutioning & execution, and completion of Technology Delivery including setting timelines, managing budgets, and ensuring that project goals are met.
- Lead the design thinking ensuring solution fitment, longevity, resilience and ROI.
- Manage technology re-platforming, consolidation, and RFP initiatives.
Product Partnership
- Work closely with the product vendors on the Technology roadmaps for Product gaps, innovation and/or customization requirements
Vendor Management
- Establishing and maintaining a strong relationshipwith the SI Vendor, leveraging vendor capabilities to land solution on time in full
Stakeholder Management
- Engage with key stakeholders to evangelize tech usage and fitment to value delivery
Change Management
- Work closely with the change management teams to develop a change management strategy andin landing the solution within the Markets/Hubs
Risk Management
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
Experience And Qualifications Required
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in business partnering, tech solution and IT delivery
- Technology expertise/working knowledge of
- Must Have: Understanding of Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes.
- Must Have: Adept at transforming complex technical concepts into compelling business value narratives.
- Must Have: Experience working with Azure eco-system and cloud native application architecture.
- Must Have: Skilled in API integration and tool orchestration for enterprise applications.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with experience presenting prototypes and roadmaps to leadership.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
- Ability to lead and inspire a team in a dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
