Role Purpose:

The Senior Process Analyst (IC - Assistant Manager) is responsible for hands-on execution of process mining, detailed process mapping, SOP creation, and analytical support for process transformation initiatives across the Marine Services vertical.

The role supports enterprise-wide transformation by converting process diagnostics and AI-generated insights into structured documentation, process variants analysis, and optimization opportunities, under the governance and direction of the Sr Manager / AGM - Process Transformation

Base Location:Navi Mumbai

Reporting to: Sr Manager / AGM - Process Transformation

Key Role Responsibilities:

Detailed Process Mapping & Documentation

  • Execute end-to-end and sub-process level mapping (L4/L5) for Marine Services processes.

  • Develop process flows, value stream maps, SIPOCs, and supporting documentation.

  • Capture volumes, frequencies, exceptions, and system touchpoints accurately.

SOP Development & Maintenance

  • Create and maintain detailed SOPs, work instructions, and process narratives.

  • Ensure SOPs are clear, role-based, audit-ready, and aligned to governance standards.

  • Support version control and periodic SOP reviews.

Process Mining & Variant Analysis

  • Execute process mining activities using approved tools and datasets.

  • Identify process variants, deviations, rework loops, and inefficiencies.

  • Highlight gaps between as-is and to-be processes.

AI & Data Insight Support

  • Analyze AI-generated insights and dashboards to support root cause analysis.

  • Translate data outputs into structured observations and improvement hypotheses.

Optimization & Improvement Identification

  • Identify opportunities for:

  • Process simplification and standardization

  • Productivity improvements

  • Risk and control strengthening

  • Digitization and automation readiness

  • Support benefit estimation and impact assessment.

Automation & Digital Enablement Support

  • Collaborate with Automation, IT, and Digital teams to support RPA, system, and AI initiatives.

  • Provide detailed process inputs required for automation design and implementation.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Work closely with Front Office and GSC teams across ISC and EU to gather inputs and validate process documentation.

  • Support workshops, interviews, and walkthroughs with process owners.

Governance & Quality Adherence

  • Ensure all process artifacts comply with defined governance, quality, and documentation standards.

  • Support audit queries and governance reviews as required.

Reporting & Progress Tracking

  • Provide regular updates on mapping progress, issues, and dependencies to the reporting manager.

  • Maintain repositories for process documents and supporting data.

  • Actively contribute ideas and insights to continuous improvement and transformation initiatives within Marine Services.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of process mapping, SOP development, and process documentation standards.

  • Exposure to process mining concepts, tools, and data-driven analysis.

  • Working knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma methodologies.

  • Basic to intermediate exposure to automation, RPA, and AI-enabled process analysis.

  • Good understanding of ERP systems and operational workflows.

  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

  • Ability to identify process variants, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical rigor.

  • Working exposure to process mining tools and digital enablement initiatives.

  • Ability to support automation and AI initiatives through accurate process inputs

  • Ability to interact with Front Office and GSC stakeholders professionally.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills

  • Engage with Marine Front Office teams across ISC & EU to support process discovery and validation.

  • Collaborate with GSC teams to ensure accurate and timely process documentation.

  • Support transformation initiatives through structured analysis and documentation.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement culture within the Marine Services GSC.

Education & Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of experience in process analysis, mapping, and documentation.

  • Strong hands-on experience creating L4/L5 process maps and SOPs.

  • 3-5+ years hands-on experience in process documentation and governance roles
