Business Context:

  • Finance & Procurement Operations (F&P Ops) provides financial services including Record to Report (R2R), Procure to Pay (P2P), Supply Chain Finance Services (SCFS), Controls Services (CSC), Zero Based Budgeting (ZBB), Treasury, and Parent & Holding Controls (TRC).
  • CSC monitors financial controls across 90+ countries covering Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, and Make to Deliver.
  • CSC publishes SAP-based reports, identifies exceptions, and ensures timely remediation with action plans.

Main Purpose of the Job:

  • Manage controls monitoring and reporting across assigned clusters and processes.
  • Deliver IT product and analytics initiatives to improve business insights and operational outcomes.
  • Ensure adherence to financial controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders including Finance Controllers, IT, and process owners.

Key Accountabilities:

Controls Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Validate accuracy and completeness of monthly VAR reports (MEC activities).
  • Analyse data in Controls Cockpit to identify outliers, trends, and anomalies.
  • Drive Control Health Meetings with Controllers and ensure timely closure of outliers.
  • Issue Monthly Controls Cockpit usage report with accuracy and within timelines.
  • Take ownership of assigned cluster and process, flagging outliers needing attention.

IT Product Delivery & Governance:

  • Lead delivery of advanced analytics capabilities (predictive analytics, ML).
  • Oversee IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring cost effectiveness and timely delivery.
  • Manage vendor/service provider relationships to ensure high-quality service.
  • Validate documentation, obtain UAT sign-offs, and monitor development activities.
  • Manage SOW, POs, incident management, and service improvement initiatives.
  • Drive cost optimization and rationalization discussions.

Finance Skills:

Product Delivery Skills:

  • Data governance and regulatory compliance
  • Technology understanding: SAP, GRC Hana

Relevant Experience:

Finance:

  • CA/MBA with 2-4 years of finance experience in Unilever or similar global organization.
  • Experience in control assurance, accounting/finance roles, internal audit, project management, process excellence.

Product Delivery:

  • Experience establishing and running business intelligence & analytics operations.
  • Managing large-scale data projects and budgets.
  • Developing and implementing data and analytics strategies.
  • Managing cross-functional projects and delivering data-driven insights.
