Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager- Planning & Allocation
The Assistant Manager is primarily responsible for creating purchase orders and allocating inventory to Clubs to maximize sales and inventory investment. This is accomplished by managing inventory flow across our Club, Distribution, and Ecommerce networks to minimize expense. This position works within a Merchandise Category team, including Merchant, Merchant Assistant, and Planner. It leverages expertise and guidance from the Planning & Allocation Sr. Manager as well as from the Allocation Lead.

Responsibilities
.Creates purchase orders, allocates inventory and execute club transfers to maximize sales and optimize inventory situation at the club.
.Review daily Club inventory levels and sales forecasts within assigned Merchandise Categories to ensure Clubs are allocated the right amount of inventory to maintain targeted in stock goals to enhance the Member experience.
.Manage New Club Launch by monitoring and tracking the POs and allocating the inventory to the Club at the right time to ensure the in-stock during Club opening.
.Monitor and resolve DC, Club and Vendor queries related to PO and Allocation to minimize inventory risk at the Club and improve DC and Club Operations.
.Analyze and Allocate right inventory to the Clubs based on the sales demand and seasonality to maintain In-stock level.
.Monitor vendor performance to ensure that purchase orders are fulfilled completely and delivered on time. Demonstrate proficiency in SAP & E3 (specifically maintaining demand, forecasting, and replenishment system parameters) to allocate inventory and achieve KPI target goals efficiently.
.Monitor KPI performance of Club in stock, Sales Plan, Inventory Turn improvement, Monthly Inventory Plans, and Margin plan to ensure assigned Merchandise Categories are on target.
.Escalate to the management team when vendor performance issues are impacting KPI performance.
.Collaborate with other departments: Work closely with buyers, merchandisers, and logistics teams to ensure smooth inventory flow and align strategies with overall sales and marketing goals.
.Manage supplier relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any inventory-related issues.
.Continuously looking for improvements within planning and allocation systems and processes.
.Ability to lead cross functional projects, including development of scope, building timeline, execution, training, etc.
.Take ownership on reviewing and updating the DTPs and other process documents in regular interval as the change management framework.
.Help Leaders to drive Quality and reduce the Incident risk by RCA and implementing right process measures and control mechanism.
.Responsible to act as a SME in the team and drive process refresher trainings for the team members in regular intervals.

Minimum Qualifications
.Bachelors degree required
.4+ years of relevant inventory management experience
.Results-driven and able to work in a fast-paced environment
.Expert command of retail math concepts, applications, and analysis
.Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
.Organizes thoughts and communicates credibly and concisely Presents to and influences team members and business partners, by utilizing relevant data and fact-based information to articulate results.
.Able to provide recommendations in a clear concise manner
.Ability to work independently as well as cross functionally
.Critical thinker, that can interact professionally with both internal and external stakeholders
.Desire to Coach, Mentor, and Onboard
.Advanced Excel skills and Planning Software experience
.Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities
.Understands financial metrics inclusive of sales, margin, inventory turn, weeks of supply.
