- Primary responsibility is to ensure that the products meet the required standards as per specification.
- Responsible for taking necessary corrective actions for reducing the tire failure in ROTR Plant
- Responsible to maintain and initiate appropriate cost control measures by optimizing the component dimensions in ROTR
- Responsible to review all the process study report from tire engineering for Suitability of implementation.
- Responsible for initiating appropriate ongoing process control measures.
- Responsible for lab activities and product testing (concerned managers)
- CFT activities for Product / Process
- Process up-gradation activities in ROTR
- Reducing tire scrap/defects
- Participating in a Team of CFT/5S for improvement in process
- Implementation of QEHS Policy.
- To guide for EHS awareness for all shift in charges.
- To ensure that there is no any leakage like water, steam, air, oil etc. & get it rectified immediately.
- To ensure all equipment are in safe working condition.
To ensure the storage & disposal of solid waste & hazardous waste as per the standard guide line.
Authority
- Authorized to change all the relevant tire engineering specifications and note
- Authorized to stop product / process for necessary corrections.
- Authorized to conduct trials for product development /addressing defects
- Authorized to dispose non-conforming products
- Authorized to make specifications, issue and control
To take timely decision pertaining to unsafe practice / unsafe act / quality adherence / Environmental protection
Competence
- Degree in Science / Engineering / Diploma
- More than 5 Years in tire industries
