Job Summary

Provides expertise in revenue cycle system optimization with a strong focus on MEDENT platform configuration, rule development, and workflow enhancement. This role partners closely with Operations, Billing, AR, Cash Management, and offshore teams to reduce billing errors, improve automation, and enhance end-to-end revenue cycle performance across US and India delivery models.

Essential Functions And Tasks

  • Lead MEDENT rule build initiatives including coding and charge rules to reduce billing errors and rework. Analyze billing, AR, denial, and cash posting trends to identify systemic issues and optimization opportunities.
  • Translate revenue cycle workflows and system capabilities into configuration, automation, and process improvements.
  • Partner with AR, Cash Posting, Coding, Credits, and Refund teams to improve end-to-end revenue cycle outcomes.
  • Support development of specialty and operational reports including AR, denials, and reconciliation data. Collaborate with offshore teams to ensure alignment of workflows, system usage, and process standards.
  • Document system enhancements, use cases, and standard operating procedures for operational adoption.
  • Participate in cross-functional discussions to prioritize system and workflow improvements.

Education And Experience Requirements


  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least 3 - 5 + years of medical billing and claims resolution experience preferred
  • Experience supporting Orthopedics, DME, and Physical Therapy revenue cycle workflows.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities


  • Strong hands-on knowledge of MEDENT system configuration, rules, and workflows (35+ years required ).
  • End-to-end understanding of Revenue Cycle Management including AR, denials, cash posting, credits, and charge capture.
  • Ability to identify trends and translate data insights into system and workflow improvements.
  • Strong collaboration skills with onshore and offshore teams.
  • Practical reporting knowledge without expectation of data warehouse or advanced analytics ownership.
  • Become proficient in the use of billing software within 4 weeks and maintain proficiency
  • Ability to read, understand and apply state/federal laws, regulations, and policies
  • Ability to communicate with diverse personalities in a tactful, mature, and professional manner
  • Ability to remain flexible and work within a collaborative and fast-paced environment
  • Basic use of a computer, telephone, internet, copier, fax, and scanner
  • Basic touch 10 key skills
  • Basic Math skills
  • Understand and comply with company policies and procedures
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Strong knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel (pivot tables), and database software skills

Compensation


  • Base Compensation will be based on various factors unique to each candidate including geographic location, skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons .
  • This position is also eligible for a discretionary incentiv e bon us in accordance with company policies .
