Job Description

  • Manufacturing feasibility study of the new product with the detailed analysis of DFA and DFM methodology collaborating with simultaneous engineering team
  • Plan, develop and procurement of MAE. Define process parameter
  • Prepare the detailed equipment technical specification in alignment with Bosch global standards, required for manufacturing line across IPN.
  • Work closely with the supplier during assembly line and equipment development.
  • Technical discussion with supplier for RFQ of new MAE
  • .Pre acceptance of MAE according to ordered specification, final acceptance of MAE at IPN plant after installations.Support to IPN for first lot production.Support for maintenance and operator training
  • Responsible for reduction of internal defects, improvement of line utilization.Support Plant and IPN for day to day manufacturing line issues and maintenance topics
  • Prepare maintenance plan / instructions, spare parts list.
  • Support for Cp /Cpk study.
  • Review and implement improvements suggestions for specific process.
  • Responsible Process FMEA inputs
  • MAE delivery as per project schedule.
  • Reach defects reduction and utilization as per target.

Qualifications

BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Industrial automation

Min. 5 to 8 years relevant job experience in electronics and or automotive business. Exposure to international teams/customers.

  • Good understanding on electronic product manufacturing ( in SMT and Final assembly area) in automotive sector
  • Good knowledge in design and development of Special purpose machine (SPM)
  • Good knowledge on Manufacturing processes like Soldering, Milling, Dispensing, Screwing, assembly and optical inspection systems
  • Knowledge of tolerance calculation.Stack up analysis, GD&T, FMEA, 8D
  • Lean tools. Basic knowledge of structural simulation.Experience in implementing lean line concepts
  • Knowledge of Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Knowledge of CAD software, Team center and SAP
  • Good knowledge in Pneumatic elements, sensors, PLC and control systems
  • Good knowledge in design and engineering of jigs and fixtures
  • Very good level of understanding 2D drawings
  • Able to imagine fixture and jigs and to sketch concepts.
  • Good knowledge in understanding the Factory shop floor layout of assembly lines & to make the improvements in the layout for lean flow process. Skill in estimating the shop floor surface area required for the new assembly lines
  • Good knowledge in GD&T and 8D
  • Basic knowledge in electrical circuits of machines and automation
  • Good knowledge in test and control of products and advanced quality (qualification principles Cp, Cpk, FMEA)
  • Good Knowledge in 2D CAD software.Able to support people in the plant and to give know-how
