Job Designation: Assistant Manager (Marketing)

Job Summary:

Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), a leading educational institution in India, seeks a results-oriented Assistant Manager (Marketing) to lead and execute data-driven digital marketing campaigns. The role focuses on driving student enrolments, enhancing brand visibility, and fostering engagement across digital platforms. The position involves collaboration with internal teams and external agencies to implement innovative marketing strategies aligned with the goals of multiple Schools and Campuses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive performance marketing strategies across digital channels (search, social media, display, etc.) to achieve enrolment and engagement targets.
  • Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns (PPC, social media ads) to maximize ROI.
  • Analyze campaign performance using data analytics and metrics to inform strategy and budget allocation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (admissions, website, call centre) to ensure cohesive messaging and campaign execution.
  • Conduct market research and audience analysis to identify trends, target segments, and growth opportunities.
  • Generate reports and provide data-driven insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Manage and mentor a team of digital marketing specialists, ensuring professional development and campaign efficiency.
  • Stay updated on the latest digital marketing trends and technologies to identify new growth opportunities.

Educational Qualifications

  • Full-time MBA in Marketing or equivalent, with a strong focus on digital marketing.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, social media tools).
  • Strong knowledge of SEM, SEO, attribution models, and performance analytics.

Professional Certifications

  • Certifications in Google Ads, Facebook Blueprint, Analytics, or other digital marketing tools are desirable.

Professional Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a marketing agency or brand in a performance marketing role.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and optimizing digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Experience in a matrix organizational structure is highly preferred.
  • Prior experience in the education sector is a plus.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong data analytics capabilities to analyze performance and trends.
  • Expertise in SEM, SEO, and social media marketing.
  • Understanding of marketing attribution models and ROI measurement.
