Azista Composites Private Limited has emerged from extensive R&D efforts to develop innovative and advanced composite solutions for Defence, Aerospace, Space, Naval, and Railway applications.

Azista is a recognized leader in high-temperature composite technologies, specializing in CarbonCarbon (C/C) and CarbonCarbon Silicon Carbide (C/C-SiC) Ceramic Matrix Composites (CMCs). These materials play a critical role in missile systems, launch vehicles, hypersonic platforms, and other strategic programs.

Role Overview:

We are hiring an Assistant Manager Marketing & Sales (Composites / Aerospace / Defence) to drive B2B technical sales, business development, and key account management for advanced composite solutions.

This role is ideal for professionals with experience in aerospace, defence manufacturing, UAV/eVTOL, advanced materials, or composite technologies, with a strong ability to manage long sales cycles, OEM relationships, and techno-commercial engagements.

You will be responsible for revenue growth, strategic partnerships, lead generation, and customer engagement across Aerospace OEMs, Tier-1/Tier-2 suppliers, UAV companies, and space/defence organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development

  • Drive lead generation and new business opportunities for epoxy prepregs, UAV/VTOL composite structures, filament winding, high-pressure composite cylinders, and engineered composite solutions
  • Manage and track sales pipeline, forecasts, order intake, and program status using CRM tools
  • Develop and execute sales strategies for composite products including structures, components, interiors, and advanced materials
  • Promote R&D-driven and customized solutions for high-temperature composites (C-C, C-C-SiC, C-SiC, CMCs)
  • Identify and build opportunities with OEMs, Tier-1/Tier-2 suppliers, UAV manufacturers, and aerospace & defence clients
  • Manage key accounts and handle RFQs, techno-commercial proposals, costing, negotiations, and contract closures

Exhibitions & Marketing Support

  • Represent the organization at domestic and international exhibitions, trade shows, and industry forums
  • Plan and execute pre-event and post-event strategies, including lead generation, follow-ups, and conversion tracking
  • Develop and coordinate marketing collaterals such as technical brochures, presentations, and product literature

Customer & Program Management

  • Coordinate technical and commercial discussions between customers and internal teams
  • Support program execution lifecycle from development and qualification to serial production
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer mapping to identify growth opportunities
  • Support customer audits, plant visits, and quality reviews
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction through proactive communication, issue resolution, and relationship management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Aerospace / Materials preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in technical sales, business development, or account management in Composites, Aerospace, Defence, or Advanced Manufacturing
  • Strong understanding of composite materials, manufacturing processes, and aerospace/defence ecosystems
  • Proven experience in B2B sales, OEM engagement, and long-cycle sales programs
  • Experience handling RFQs, costing, proposals, and contract negotiations
  • Exposure to UAV/eVTOL, aerospace structures, or defence programs is highly preferred
  • Hands-on experience in trade shows, exhibitions, and customer engagement events
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Willingness to travel (domestic & international)
