Marketing Plan
- To assist in creating the business development plan for the assigned store in consultation with the MHQ Marketing team.
- To create individual business development targets for marketing executives and ensure that overall targets are met.
Functional Responsibilities
- Responsible for achieving sales targets set by the organization and generate revenue through the Marketing Team.
- Assist in supervising all marketing MTMs and motivate, manage and train the subordinates to close the target.
- Drive new customer acquisition in coordination with Marketing and Sales team.
- Conduct follow ups on all addresses collected from prospective customers, DNF Data & other related businesses (wedding related agencies, event management, beauty salons, etc.)and build a good relationship to generate leads.
- Collect leads from marketing executives/Sales team and other different sources of prospective weddings and develop a database of potential customers to report to superiors.
- Verify reports of the marketing staff and cross check the authenticity by making follow up calls to the prospective customers.
- Invite potential customers(leads)/existing customers to the Store, to whom the marketing employee has already met; for exhibitions, promotional events/campaigns, etc.
- Monitor the visits of the Marketing Executives through GPS tracking and verify the entry of leads into the CRM software regarding the client visits.
- Provide guidance and resolve queries of Marketing Executives and is responsible for their movements.
- Assist in visiting high net worth customers to convince them to make purchases from Malabar.
- Review leads from different sources of prospective weddings & advances and update the Showroom Heads on the same.
- As part of the CSR initiative of stores, check the eligibility of applicants to various charitable schemes introduced by the organization.
Marketing
- Understand the creative requirements of the store and inform superiors and make necessary arrangements.
- Communicate and participate in meetings with Visual merchandising team for store branding requirements, new visual and decor ideas.
- Supervise and execute ATL, BTL, digital activities & other localized marketing campaigns at store level in coordination with Showroom Head based on the approvals from MHQ Marketing team (execution,tracking, generating leads and analyzing outcomes).
- Assist in monitoring hoardings by collecting relevant information from Marketing Executives and manage BTL expenses.
- Make necessary arrangements to replace the damaged hoarding boards.
- Network with major industry players and gather information on competitor's marketing strategy and their activities and update superiors with current market situation.
- Assist in monitoring the general sentiment about the brand online (monitoring reviews, comments, messages & posts) and execute online reputation management activities to ensure neutral/positive sentiment.
- Coordinate for all events, campaigns, exhibitions at regional and store level.
- Ensure and measure the effectiveness of community marketing.
Internal Process
- Generate marketing MIS reports to monitor and analyze market trends, campaign-based expenses, and activities done.
- Analyze call center reports to understand the feedback from prospective customers and manage customer inquiries.
People development
- Identify learning needs of team and self and provide requirements to L&D team
- Ensure completion of mandatory training programs for self and team
- Drive a performance driven culture in the team by timely monitoring, review of performance and feedback to the team members.
