Assistant Manager - Maintenance

• Job planning with operation department as per priority and allocation of jobs to workmen and contractor workmen.
• To coordinate the maintenance activities with the other linked departments
• To coordinate with the ESF production dept. for day to day jobs execution.
• Daily planning and scheduling of the jobs in coordination with all cross functional team in ESF dept.
• To track and ensure 100% Compliance to PM and Planned jobs. Tracking of unplanned, planned jobs and preparing action plans through IMPACT planning.
• Ensure compliance with safety measures by conducting safety inspection, identification of hazards, taking mitigation actions, safety communication with company and contractor employee.
• Compliance to legal requirement like hydro test , inspection of lifting tools and tackles
• Proactive maintenance approach by daily inspection, checklist follow up , predictive and preventive maintenance
• Execution of capital jobs like debottlenecking, improvement, equipment replacement etc.
• Maintenance experience on following equipment
  1. Stationary and rotating equipment
  2. Hydraulic system 250 Bar and Thickeners
  3. Belt conveyors, pneumatic conveying system, screw conveyors etc.
  4. Various types of Gear box , pump and piping system ,Various type of valves
  5. Various types of heat exchangers , chilling system and cooling towers
  6. Fans / blowers, vacuum pumps
  7. Tanks and pressure vessel
  8. Knowledge on compressors and Knowledge on selection of material of construction, selection on pumps piping system
• Ensure quality of incoming engineering material, quality on the job like welding, alignment etc. Experience and Knowledge on basic maintenance practices like alignment, measurement, limit fits and tolerances, bearing fitting and dismantling
• Trouble shooting and rout cause analysis to reducing downtime and improving OEE, MTBF of the equipment
• Taking various projects to improve on environment front like dust emission, effluent generation
• Taking initiatives on reducing energy consumption

Team and People

• Training identification and planning
• Conducting Training Sessions: Technical / Safety / ISO / 5S for all workers
• To train workers for basic maintenance practices
• Knowledge Sharing Sessions with workers / to communicate the latest trends of management in TCL Community Development
• To create interest of an individual and his importance in the job

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of various Engg. Standards
• Knowledge and hands on experience on SAP, To make PR / PO / SO in SAP
• Knowledge of Engg. And Machine Drawing Process Knowledge for Hydraulic system , compressors and rotating equipment Pump, Blower, compressors start-up / Shutdown
• Materials of Construction

Qualifications: Essential: First Class Graduation in B.E / B. Tech. Mechanical

Work Experience: 3 to 7 years in plant Mechanical maintenance
