In this role, The Assistant Manager oversees regional logistics operations, ensuring efficient transportation management, KPI achievement, and seamless coordination between dispatch, warehouse, and customer teams. This role focuses on operational excellence, cost optimization, and compliance with organizational standards.
Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day logistics operations for assigned zones.
Ensure adherence to TAT (Turnaround Time), OTIF (On-Time In-Full), and documentation accuracy targets.
Manage transport vendors, including performance reviews and compliance checks.
Resolve escalations from customers and internal stakeholders promptly.
Drive route optimization, capacity planning, and productivity improvements.
Ensure audit readiness, SOP compliance, and conduct team training programs.
Support budgeting, cost monitoring, and invoice validation processes.
Strong operational leadership and decision-making skills.
In-depth knowledge of logistics, transportation planning, and supply chain processes.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
Strong analytical skills with expertise in vendor negotiation and cost control.
Ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices.
Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly analyze issues and implement effective solutions.
Adaptability: Comfortable working in dynamic environments and handling unexpected challenges.
Time Management: Prioritize tasks efficiently to meet deadlines and service-level agreements.

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field) or Supply Chain / Logistics Management.
Language: Spanish & English
Proficiency in ERP systems and logistics management tools.
Knowledge of compliance standards and audit processes in logistics.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Additional certifications in Data Analytics, Power BI, or Logistics Systems are an advantage.
Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
