Assistant Manager – Legal (US Shift)
Location: Mumbai (In-office)
Shift: 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM IST
Experience: 3–4 years
About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on legal professional to join our in-house team and support the business during US hours. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys fast-paced environments, owns contracts end-to-end, and thinks commercially while managing legal risk.
What You'll Do
• Draft, review, and negotiate global commercial agreements (MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, vendor, SaaS, licensing, and partnership contracts).
• Support sales, procurement, and business teams with practical legal advice and quick turnarounds.
• Drive contract negotiations with US and global stakeholders.
• Identify legal and commercial risks and suggest business-friendly solutions.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable US/global laws.
• Support audits, dispute management, and work with external counsel when needed.
• Help build and improve legal templates, playbooks, and processes.
What We're Looking For
• Law graduate (LLB); LLM is a plus.
• 3–4 years of experience in in-house legal or a law firm with strong commercial contracts exposure.
• Hands-on experience with global / US-focused agreements (mandatory).
• Strong understanding of commercials, negotiations, and risk allocation.
• Comfortable working independently during US business hours.
• Clear communicator with a practical, problem-solving mindset.
Must-Have
• Willingness to work from the Mumbai office during US shift hours.
• Strong spoken and written English.
