Role Summary
The Assistant Manager International Marketing will support global market development for ophthalmology products by working closely with international distributors, regional sales teams, and cross-functional departments. The role will contribute to market expansion, product positioning, distributor engagement, and global marketing initiatives to strengthen the organization's presence in international markets.
Key Responsibilities
Distributor & Market Management
- Manage relationships with international distributors and channel partners to support market development.
- Track distributor performance, sales targets, and market growth opportunities.
- Support distributors with marketing materials, product training, and commercial coordination.
Market Development & Expansion
- Support market entry strategies for new countries and emerging ophthalmology markets.
- Identify new business opportunities and potential distribution partners in international markets.
- Work with regional teams to strengthen market penetration and brand visibility.
Product & Brand Marketing
- Support global product positioning and brand communication strategies for ophthalmology products.
- Prepare marketing materials, product presentations, and promotional content for international markets.
- Assist in new product launch planning and marketing campaigns across global markets.
Market Intelligence
- Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and product trend analysis.
- Monitor global ophthalmology industry trends, pricing strategies, and competitor activities.
- Provide insights to support product strategy and marketing decisions.
Regulatory & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with regulatory teams for product registrations and documentation in international markets.
- Work closely with sales, supply chain, and product teams to ensure product availability and demand planning.
- Support pricing discussions, forecasting, and market demand analysis.
Global Marketing Initiatives
- Support participation in international ophthalmology conferences, exhibitions, and scientific meetings.
- Coordinate KOL (Key Opinion Leader) engagement and clinical promotion activities in key markets.
- Assist in executing global marketing campaigns and distributor training programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Pharmacy / Life Sciences / Business Administration.
- 10+ years of experience in international marketing or export sales in pharma, ophthalmology, or medical devices.
- Experience handling global distributors and international market coordination.
- Knowledge of export processes, regulatory coordination, and international business practices.
- Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
Willingness to travel internationally for distributor meetings and global conferences.
