Responsibilities
- Expertise in Loop checking, interlocks testing, configuration &maintenance of field instruments and DCS/PLC/SCADA/ESD system.
- Detail knowledge of instruments selection procedures, standard installation procedures for instruments and their calibrations and loop testing.
- Verification of the completions/commissioning database in line with applicable project procedures and latest design.
- Completion of commissioning function test procedures.
- Ensuring commissioning data documentation and handover are in accordance with project procedures.
- Adherence to all applicable project safety procedures/initiatives.
- Status reporting of commissioning progress as required by project-commissioning.
- Identification & sourcing of commissioning tools/spares/consumables.
- Demonstrates commitment to safety.
- Flexible and able to comply or adapt to company and client (Enduser's) requirements.
- Ability to interact with other department/disciplines.
- Detailed knowledge of instrumentation and control system commissioning.
- Ability to interpret procedures and drawings like of P&ID, Data sheets, interlocks & cause & effect, control narratives etc.
- Preparation of master schedule of commissioning activities/start up with close co-ordination with project lead
Qualifications
B.E / B.Tech - Instrumentation with 4 to 8 Yrs of exp
