Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled
Assistant Manager with expertise in
the category inflation and forecasting to join our Analytics Solution team. The person will be responsible for overseeing Inflation Watch implementations, understanding custom client requirements, and ensuring the quality and timely delivery of tailored services supporting the product.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in project management, stakeholder collaboration, and data-driven decision-making. They will work closely with the client's procurement and finance teams, and Beroe's internal teams to ensure smooth implementations and drive superior customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Domain Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of inflation indices, commodity price drivers, and global economic trends influencing procurement and supply chain strategies
- In-depth knowledge of commodity market dynamics, including price reporting sources and industry benchmarks
- Comprehensive understanding of procurement frameworks, including category taxonomy, cost structures, and supplier segmentation, to support effective inflation management
- Ability to interpret data models, inflation forecasts, and scenario planning outputs to provide actionable insights for clients
Project Delivery
- Own end-to-end delivery of inflation-related projects, including planning, execution, and closure ensuring clients requirements are met
- Coordinate with Beroe's different internal teams to ensure the availability of cost structures, price forecasts, etc. in a timely manner
- Work with visualization and other teams to develop and implement custom dashboards, reports, and forecasting models to meet client expectations
Quality And Insights
- Identify and implement tools and frameworks to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of category inflation by working with other internal teams
- Analyze inflation data across clients to identify key trends and risks, and suggest actions
- Proactively suggest value-added services and enhancements (such as scenario analysis, risk exposure, etc.) to the Inflation Watch product based on client needs and market developments
- Demonstrate out-of-the-box thinking to bring fresh perspectives to client challenges
Stakeholder Communication
- Act as the key liaison between the client's team and Beroe's internal team to run the inflation implementations successfully
- Collaborate with sales and customer success teams to ensure the success of the implementations
- Develop roadmap and work plan for delivery and facilitate client meetings, presentations, and workshops with clients
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution
Qualifications & Skills
- Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of total experience, with 3+ years of experience in project/program management
- Strong knowledge of budgeting methodologies, forecasting techniques, procurement framework across industries and financial analysis.
- Understanding of ERP software/procurement tools and data visualization tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.).
- Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach
- Experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
