Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager, I2C - Contract Management & Billing Ops Specialist!
In this role, we are seeking a Billing Operations lead the billing operations team, ensuring seamless execution of Validation & Sales order activation processes and client deliverables. This role demands independent leadership with full responsibility and authority to drive team performance, meet SLAs, and prevent billing losses in a high-volume BPO environment at Genpact, Noida. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the incumbent will oversee daily operations for a team handling billing, invoicing, and accounts reconciliation. You will be expected to handle requests, determine, respond and resolve issues based on the SOP.
Responsibilities
.Independently lead and manage the billing operations team, including resource allocation, performance reviews, and one-on-one coaching to achieve monthly targets and client SLAs.
.Oversee end-to-end billing processes, including activation of Sales Orders, Validation of invoices & accuracy checks to avoid revenue leakage.
.Handle escalations, client communications, and audits with full authority, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, internal SOPs, and Genpact standards..Drive process improvements, implement digital tools (Automation or AI), and monitor KPIs.
.Mentor team members on constructive feedback, gap analysis, and leadership development to build a high-performing unit.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
.Bachelor's degree in commerce, Finance, or related field MBA or equivalent preferred.
.Relevant exp. in billing operations/OTC, people management
.Proven track record in BPO/shared services, handling high-volume billing, deductions, and client relationships independently.
Required Skills and Competencies
.Strong leadership with ability to operate autonomously, make decisions under pressure, and foster team accountability.
.Expertise in SAP, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Teams for reporting and collaboration.
.Excellent stakeholder management, analytical skills, and attention to detail to minimize billing errors.
.Proactive problem-solver with knowledge of performance management and process optimization methodologies.
Location and Shift
.Noida Sector - 135, IT SEZ, Uttar Pradesh (onsite, flexible shifts as per business needs).
