Job Description

The Assistant Manager of Human Resources is responsible for supporting the HR department in a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Recruitment and staffing: assist in the sourcing, screening and interviewing of potential candidates
  • Onboarding and orientation: help with the orientation process for new hires and ensure they are properly trained and equipped to perform their jobs
  • Employee relations: handle employee complaints, grievances, and disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies
  • Benefits administration: assist with the administration of employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off
  • Compliance: ensure HR policies and practices comply with relevant laws and regulations
  • Performance management: assist with performance evaluations, goal setting, and career development plans for employees
  • Training and development: assist in the design and delivery of training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
  • The Assistant Manager of Human Resources should have a strong knowledge of HR best practices, They should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
