Operational
.Assists in ensuring all recruitment and employee engagement activities are conducted in line with Hyatt International's standards and policies.
.Conducts interviews and coordinates recruitment activities in liaison with the respective Heads of Department.
.Manages job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interview scheduling, and offer coordination.
.Coordinates onboarding activities and ensures a seamless joining experience for new employees.
.Assists with Business Plans, Manning Guide.
.Conducts and coordinates employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and welfare activities.
.Counsels employees on career prospects, personal issues, job-related issues, grievance, discipline, etc.
.Responsible for all leave administration.
.Assists the Training Manager with Orientation training and employee integration activities.
People
.Ensures that all employees are treated fairly and consistently as outlined in their terms and conditions of employment, local legislation, and company/hotel policies and procedures.
.Oversees the hotel's recruitment and selection process, providing Division and Department Heads with effective and efficient recruitment solutions.
.Develops and maintains talent pipelines to support current and future hiring requirements.
.Ensures a strong professional relationship with all levels of employees within the hotel, taking an active interest in their welfare, safety, engagement, and development.
.Supports the implementation of The People Philosophy in every department in the hotel.
.Conducts Exit Interviews for all resigned employees and provides feedback to the Director of Human Resources.
.Drives employee engagement initiatives to improve motivation, retention, and workplace culture.
.Assists in organizing employee events, celebrations, recognition programs, and well-being activities.
.Conducts annual Performance Development Discussions with the Human Resources Officer, supporting their professional development goals.
.Develops the skills and effectiveness of all Human Resources employees through appropriate training, coaching, and mentoring.
.Ensures that employees follow all hotel, company, and local rules, policies, and regulations relating to fire and hazard safety, and security.
.Analyzes and communicates the results of the Employee Engagement Survey and supports the implementation of action plans.
Customer Service
.Supports the hotel's focus on service excellence by training and assisting others to train employees to provide exceptional service to the hotel's external customers (guests).
.Provides the appropriate level of professional, courteous, and caring service to employees (internal customers) and visitors to the division.
.Promotes a positive employee experience across all stages of the employee lifecycle.
Financial
.Helps maintain efficient staffing levels.
.Monitors recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and hiring effectiveness.
.Be conversant with productivity ratios and other key performance indicators and produce monthly turnover, employee sick leave, vacation, and recruitment reports.
.Assists in researching competitive compensation, benefits, and incentive packages.
.Assists in the management of the Department's operational budget so that all costs are controlled and expenditures are properly approved.
Marketing
.Assists the Director of Human Resources with the compilation and implementation of all employee communications.
.Supports employer branding initiatives to enhance the organization's reputation as an employer of choice.
.Ensures that all in-house rules and regulations are communicated to employees and implemented.
.Monitors and prepares the Human Resources Calendar.
.Assists in planning and promoting employee engagement campaigns and internal communication initiatives.
Other Duties
.Is knowledgeable in statutory legislation in employee and industrial relations.
.Understands and strictly adheres to Rules and Regulations established in the Employee Handbook and the Hotel's policies concerning fire, hygiene, health, and safety.
.Ensures high standards of personal presentation and grooming.
.Maintains strong, professional relationships with relevant representatives from competitor hotels, business partners, recruitment agencies, educational institutions, and universities.
.Responds to changes in the Human Resources function as dictated by the industry, company, and hotel.
.Attends training sessions and meetings as and when required.
.Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
