Job Description

Job Title: Assistant Manager Credentialing, Compliance & Onboarding (HRO Operations UK/US)

Location: Pune, India

CTC: Up to 20 LPA

Job Summary

We are hiring an experienced Assistant Manager to lead Credentialing, Compliance, and Onboarding operations within HRO for UK and US processes. This role requires strong domain expertise in employee lifecycle management, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder coordination. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership experience in managing teams and delivering high-quality onboarding and compliance services for global clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end credentialing, compliance, and onboarding processes for UK/US clients
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory and client-specific compliance requirements (right-to-work, background checks, documentation)
  • Manage onboarding workflows including document verification, system updates, and employee readiness
  • Oversee audits, compliance checks, and risk mitigation activities
  • Drive SLA adherence, quality metrics, and process efficiency
  • Handle client escalations and ensure timely resolution
  • Collaborate with HR, recruitment, legal, and operations teams
  • Monitor team performance through KPIs, dashboards, and MIS reporting
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation initiatives
  • Train, mentor, and develop team members

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in HR, Business Administration, or related field
  • 610 years of experience in HRO operations with focus on credentialing, onboarding, and compliance
  • Minimum 23 years of experience in a Team Lead / Assistant Manager role
  • Strong understanding of UK/US employment compliance and onboarding practices
  • Experience handling background verification, right-to-work checks, and audit processes
  • Excellent stakeholder management and client interaction skills
  • Proficiency in HR systems/ATS/HRMS tools
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in global HRO/BPO/KPO environments
  • Knowledge of GDPR, employment laws, and compliance frameworks (UK/US)
  • Six Sigma / Lean certification (good to have)
  • Exposure to automation tools and digital onboarding platforms
