Position: Assistant Manager HR

Function: Human Resources (Generalist / HRBP / HR Operations)

Location: Kolkata Sector V

Experience Required: 68 Years

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Assistant Manager Human Resources to join

our team in Kolkata, Sector V. This role is a blend of HR Business Partnering and HR

Generalist responsibilities, focusing on driving HR operations, employee engagement, and

end-to-end people processes. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted partner to business

leaders while ensuring smooth HR operations aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the first point of contact for employees and managers for HR-related queries,

policies, and processes.

Partner with business teams to understand workforce requirements and support in

manpower planning, employee engagement, and retention strategies.

Manage and execute core HR operations including onboarding, confirmation,

performance management, grievance handling, and exit formalities.

Support implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and

alignment with organizational objectives.

Drive employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive workplace

culture.

Provide insights and reports to leadership on HR metrics such as attrition,

engagement, performance, and workforce analytics.

Collaborate with the HR leadership team on strategic initiatives and contribute to HR

projects, process improvements, and policy reviews.

Ensure smooth coordination with payroll, compliance, and other HR functional teams.

Desired Candidate Profile

Educational Qualification: MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or related field.

Experience: 68 years of progressive HR experience in HRBP/HR Generalist/HR

Operations roles.

Strong knowledge of HR processes, labor laws, and statutory compliance.

Proven ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

High level of ownership, integrity, and problem-solving ability.
