Job Description

Role Summary

The Assistant Manager, Showroom recruitment will be responsible for staffing and inducting all the showroom employees of Jewellery. He/She will be responsible for attracting adequate requisite talent for the showrooms. The role shall require travel to locations where Company is/plans to be located.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilitiesofManager, Showroom recruitment include, but are not limited to the following:

Recruitment

Carry out recruitment process as per required timelines for upcoming showrooms and for filling vacancies in existing showrooms

Develop Sourcing Channels

Expand the portfolio of sourcing channels used for recruitment to maintain diversity and quality of candidates

Develop distinct recruiting brand proposition for Company to attract the best talent

Plan and implement required promotional/relationship building activities to develop the brand and attract candidates

Processes and documentation

Define strong recruitment process to manage the recruitment of large number of candidates each year

Sourcing of candidates

Screening and selection

Reference checks

Appointment letters

Confirmation post probation

Maintain clear candidate history of every candidate entering the Company process

Desired Competencies

To perform this job successfully, following competencies are critical:

Experience of recruiting candidates for a large organization – to the scale of 5000 employees

Passion for employee recruitment

Strong organizing skills – Arranging and organizing recruitment requirements across multiple levels based out of multiple locations.

Strong judgement – Understand the nuances required during the recruitment to trade-off urgency vs. identifying the perfect candidate; assessing new joinees

Ability to visualize and implement standard operating procedures: Formulate guidelines for the recruitment process, retain required documentation and implement standardized procedures

Written and verbal communication skills

Profile

Education: MBA/MSW or equivalent

Experience: At least 5 years of Retail hiring experience

To converse fluently in Telugu is mandatory

Job will require extensive travel to all locations where Company is/plans to be present
