Role Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Manager for HCC Coding. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Puducherry. Responsibilities include managing and overseeing HCC coding processes, ensuring compliance with coding guidelines, conducting quality checks, mentoring and supporting a team of coders, and collaborating with stakeholders to improve coding accuracy and efficiency. The Assistant Manager will also assist with training initiatives and drive process improvement within the coding department.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in medical coding with expertise in HCC (Hierarchical Condition Category) coding practices
• Strong understanding of compliance requirements, ICD coding standards, and healthcare regulations
• Skills in team management, mentoring, and leadership to ensure coder performance and efficiency
• Problem-solving abilities and experience in implementing process improvements
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and detail-oriented skills
• Proficiency in using medical coding software and tools
• Recognized coding certifications such as CPC, CRC, or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in medical coding, with a focus on HCC
• Strong communication skills for interacting with teams and cross-functional stakeholders
