Role Description
The AM – Government Projects is the operational backbone of T-Hub's government-facing
initiatives. You will bridge the gap between agile startups and the structured environment of
Government Departments, PSUs, and Ministries. This role is responsible for the end-to-end
execution of funded programs, ensuring that innovation actually reaches the citizen level
through successful pilots, strict compliance, and strategic stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Program Operations & Pilot Execution
● End-to-End Delivery: Coordinate workshops, bootcamps, and Grand Challenges specifically designed for government cohorts.
● On-Ground Implementation: Act as the primary liaison for startup pilots within government ecosystems
● Resource Mapping: Assist startups in navigating government systems, approvals.
2. Government Liaison & Stakeholder Management
● Departmental Point of Contact: Serve as the first line of communication for Government officers, department heads, and PSU leads.
● Delhi/Ministry Presence: Represent T-Hub in Ministry reviews and Delhi-based interactions to ensure program alignment with national goals (Startup India, MeitY, NITI Aayog).
● Partnership Building: Manage relationships with ecosystem partners like NGOs, Civil Society Organizations, and academic institutions to facilitate system-level adoption.
3. Compliance, Finance & Documentation
● MoU & Contract Management: Oversee the drafting and execution of MoUs, non-disclosure agreements, and commercial contracts between T-Hub, government bodies, and startups.
● Revenue Realization: Drive the invoicing process for government-funded programs, ensuring all milestones are met and documented to trigger timely payments.
● Audit Readiness: Maintain rigorous documentation, including Utilization Certificates (UCs), Minutes of Meetings (MoMs), and MIS trackers for government audits.
4. Impact Monitoring & Reporting
● Data-Driven Insights: Conduct periodic progress reviews and M&E (Monitoring & Evaluation) surveys to measure the social and economic impact of programs.
● Knowledge Artifacts: Create compelling reports, case studies, and presentations for government stakeholders that translate ground-level data into policy-speak.
Requirements & Qualifications
● Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Policy, Management, or Engineering (MBA or Masters in Social Work/Public Policy preferred).
● Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience in startup incubation, government
consulting, or social impact programs.
● Technical Skills: * Proficiency in MS Office (Advanced Excel and PowerPoint are non-negotiable).
● Familiarity with project management tools (Asana, Trello) and Government
Portals/MIS.
● Soft Skills:
- Extreme patience and high EQ for navigating bureaucratic timelines.
- Excellent written communication (ability to draft formal government letters and high-impact reports).
- Fluency in English and Hindi (Telugu is a significant plus given the T-Hub context).
● Travel: Flexibility to travel to Delhi and elsewhere as required to maintain strategic relationships with central and state government stakeholders.
