Job Description
- Maintenance and constitution of underlying data mart required for risk portfolio reporting and analysis used by credit risk review function to identify appropriate portfolio review actions
- Develop and perform portfolio segment, sector and product level qualitative scoring models including analytics to support credit review function in scoring the products, segments, division to identify risk review actions
- Conceptualize, develop and maintain the various periodic portfolio reports and dashboard required for credit review function's reporting towards various stakeholders, forums and committees
- Assist FCR staff in the completion of their pre-exam preparation by providing the required reports and working papers.
- Responsible for quality MIS and reporting by ensuring that all outgoing reports and executive summaries are produced in the standard format for the purpose of consistency and quality.
- Participate in FCR reviews of CIBG and IBG Portfolios across the Bank in an objective manner to achieve review objectives, i.e., to recognize and surface risks and signs of credit weakness in such portfolios, to assess the overall portfolio quality and risk rate the credit management processes based on comprehensive quantitative and qualitative due diligence.
- Assess accuracy/appropriateness of Obligor Risk Ratings assigned by Business Unit and CRM. This is critical to the Bank as incorrect risk ratings can result in unwarranted losses.
- Follow up on status of open FCR review action items and ensure satisfactory completion of corrective action /risk mitigation.
- Prepare FCR information decks for presentation to the Board Risk Committee /Senior Management forums as necessary.
- Establish good working relationships with Business/Credit Management and develop a mutual understanding in order to facilitate communication & acceptance of review findings and smooth closure of open issues.
