Lead the Fuel Security Operation of the site and region as per the established operating guidelines; report the performance metrics and ensure round the clock vigilance and protective monitoring.
Coal Convoy Management: Ensure round-the-clock coal vehicle movement through a convoy system from mines and railway sidings.
Surveillance & Patrolling: Conduct continuous security patrolling and surveillance of company coal transportation to detect and prevent malpractice, theft, or pilferage.
Handling of IR/PR Issues: Address IR issues affecting coal movement by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
Apconic System Oversight: Supervise coal entry operations and ensure accurate recording of coal movement in the Apconic system.
I&V Setup & Risk Mitigation: Establish and monitor I&V setup on the coal route to proactively identify and address security risks.
Fleetx/GPS Monitoring: Monitor GPS-based tracking systems (Fleetx), ensure 100% GPS coverage of coal vehicles, and escalate issues promptly.
Security Budget Management: Prepare and ensure effective utilization of the security budget for Fuel Security operations. Ensure timely punching of PR/PO's for Vendors.
Vendor & Compliance Management: Oversee performance and compliance of security vendors with statutory and administrative requirements for Fuel Management.
Coordination with Stakeholders: Maintain effective coordination with the fuel team, coal transporters, and related departments for secured and uninterrupted transportation.
Audit & Inspection: Conduct regular audits to identify losses, deviations, malpractice, or indiscipline and recommend corrective actions.
Road Safety Management: Promote worksite and en-route safety of OMP security personnel and stakeholders through regular training and safety drills.
Traffic & TAT Management: Ensure smooth traffic flow and manage en-route congestion. Monitor and report Turnaround Time (TAT) of coal vehicles with daily reporting and analysis.
Manpower Deployment: Ensuring the planning and deployment of fuel manpower in mines, railway sidings, and en-route patrolling.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Security Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
Preferred: Postgraduate qualification in Operations Management or Industrial Security.
Certifications in Risk Management, Fleet/GPS Monitoring Systems, or Industrial Safety will be an added advantage.
5+ years of experience in Security Operations, preferably in Fuel/Coal Supply
