This role will work closely with the Assistant Head of Finance, providing deep-dive analytical support through expert-level data preparation, modeling, and visualization. The ideal candidate must possess exceptional skills in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and data transformation techniques to ensure accurate and meaningful financial insights that drive strategic business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Complex Data Preparation (Primary Focus)
- Execute advanced data extraction, cleaning, transformation, and modeling activities from ERP systems, general ledger, and other financial sources.
- Maintain the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of financial and operational data.
- Structure, consolidate, and analyze large and complex datasets for leadership review and strategic analysis.
MIS & Management Reporting Support
- Provide the foundational, high-quality data necessary for monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports.
- Build and refine data models that highlight key financial drivers, performance indicators, and variance analysis.
- Support the Assistant Head of Finance with critical insights and data-driven recommendations.
Ad Hoc Analysis & Strategic Data Requests
- Respond swiftly to ad hoc data and analysis requests from leadership.
- Deliver clean, validated datasets and scenario-based analyses for strategic decision-making.
- Create specialized reports, simulations, and performance summaries as needed.
Technical Application & Data Visualization
- Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel functions (Pivot Tables, nested formulas, Power Query, Power Pivot) for complex financial modeling.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Ensure high-quality data visualization for operational and strategic reviews.
Process Enhancement & Automation
- Identify opportunities to automate manual data processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Implement streamlined workflows that reduce reporting cycle time and improve data reliability.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across FP&A and Finance.
Requirements
Educational Background
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Data Analytics, or a quantitative field.
Experience
- 35 years of hands-on experience in data analysis, financial reporting, or FP&A.
- Strong background in data manipulation, complex modeling, and structured financial reporting.
Technical Expertise
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Power Query, Pivot Tables, advanced formulas).
- Hands-on Power BI experience in data modeling, visualization, and dashboard creation.
- Strong data cleaning, transformation, and automation capabilities.
- SAP or ERP experience (especially financial modules) is a strong advantage.
