About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Manager - Finance to support our finance function. The role involves accounting, MIS reporting, budgeting, financial analysis, management presentations, and support for strategic initiatives including mergers and acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accurate books of accounts
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Prepare and analyze MIS reports for senior management
- Assist in annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations for management and board reviews
- Support M&A activities including financial due diligence and analysis
- Assist in cost control and process improvement initiatives
- Guide and support junior finance team members
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- CA / CMA / ACCA / CPA preferred
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting
Skills Required
- Strong accounting and financial reporting knowledge
- Experience in MIS reporting and budgeting
- Understanding of Mergers & Acquisitions support activities
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with ERP / accounting software
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
