Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Manager - Finance to support our finance function. The role involves accounting, MIS reporting, budgeting, financial analysis, management presentations, and support for strategic initiatives including mergers and acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accurate books of accounts
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Prepare and analyze MIS reports for senior management
  • Assist in annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations for management and board reviews
  • Support M&A activities including financial due diligence and analysis
  • Assist in cost control and process improvement initiatives
  • Guide and support junior finance team members

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • CA / CMA / ACCA / CPA preferred
  • 3–6 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting

Skills Required

  • Strong accounting and financial reporting knowledge
  • Experience in MIS reporting and budgeting
  • Understanding of Mergers & Acquisitions support activities
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with ERP / accounting software
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
