Role Description The Assistant Manager Finance will oversee day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping supervision, financial reporting, and reconciliation of accounts. The role will support tax and regulatory compliance, assist in budgeting and forecasting, and contribute to financial analysis for valuations, project finance, and business advisory assignments. The Assistant Manager Finance will coordinate with internal teams and clients to prepare documentation for audits, due diligence, and compliance under GST, direct tax, and Companies Act requirements. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, requiring close collaboration with senior management and active participation in improving financial processes and controls.

Qualifications

  • Strong core finance and accounting skills, including financial reporting, ledger management, reconciliations, and familiarity with Indian GAAP or relevant accounting standards.
  • Experience in taxation and compliance, particularly GST, direct taxation, and Companies Act provisions, with the ability to prepare and review returns and documentation.
  • Exposure to financial analysis and advisory work, such as valuations, project finance, due diligence, and business performance review.
  • Proficiency in financial tools and software, including advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting/ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders in a professional manner.
  • Ability to work on-site in Gurugram on a full-time basis, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Professional qualification such as CA (Drop out), CMA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent, or strong progress toward such credentials; prior experience in a CA firm or financial advisory environment is an advantage.
  • Main requirement is person should have experience with startup, month closing, MIS and able handle team and clients.
