Assistant Manager - Finance

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager - Finance with a focus on Accounts Payable. The ideal candidate will have 4-8 years of experience and will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial reports, building vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with international regulations. This role requires a strategic mindset to optimize cash flow and a strong understanding of accounting tools.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and analyze financial reports related to payables and costs.
• Vendor & Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers in different countries.
• Risk Management: Monitor currency exchange rates and implement strategies to minimize currency-related risks in payment transactions.
• Compliance: Work closely with other departments, such as legal and compliance, to ensure alignment on international regulations.
• Team Management: Manage and mentor 1-2 resources.

Skills Required

• Education: A Commerce graduate degree is a must (no engineers, science, or arts stream candidates). A CA/CWA Inter qualification is a plus.
• Experience:48 years of post-qualification experience is ideal.
• Domain Expertise: Extensive experience in the Accounts Payable (AP) domain, including PO (Purchase Order), Payments, Contract Management, Compliance, and related taxation.
• Strategic Thinking: A strategic mindset to optimize cash flow.
• Software Knowledge: Knowledge of expense management tools like ZOHO and accounting tools like XERO, QuickBooks, etc.
