Role Description

We are looking for a proactive Finance & Accounts professional to manage end-to-end finance operations for our real estate business. The role involves commercial controls, project-wise financial tracking, statutory compliance, and close coordination with internal teams, clients, and vendors.

This position offers exposure not only to Rathi Lifespaces but also to other group and external accounting assignments, making it ideal for a high-ownership, go-getter individual.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, streamline, and ensure adherence to finance, commercial, billing, and accounting processes across ongoing and upcoming real estate projects
  • Manage project-wise cost tracking, billing, collections, and profitability analysis
  • Maintain a consolidated financial view of ongoing, billed, and completed projects
  • Coordinate with clients for payment collections through calls, emails, and in-person follow-ups when required
  • Coordinate with vendors and channel partners for payouts, reconciliations, and credit line management
  • Ensure timely booking and raising of invoices (sales and purchase)
  • Maintain complete bookkeeping and accounting entries in Tally
  • Prepare and present MIS reports, cash flow statements, and management dashboards for leadership review
  • Close monthly P&L statements and provide insights on business health to the Core Team
  • Handle salary processing, reimbursements, and finance-related admin work
  • Liaise with external consultants for statutory compliances including GST, TDS, PT, etc. on a monthly basis
  • Support finance requirements for new business verticals and ad-hoc accounting work across group entities

Must-Have Skills & Experience

  • Strong knowledge of Statutory Compliances GST, TDS, PT, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with Tally and end-to-end bookkeeping
  • Solid accounting and finance operations background
  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel (MIS, reconciliations, analysis)
  • Experience in MIS reporting and financial tracking
  • Background in Real Estate preferred
