Overview

The individual will maintain master reference tables for validation, enhance validation rules continuously, and handle reporting requests for intercompany charges. The Data team manages the technical aspects of the intercompany charging process, such as workflow design, master data management, data validation, and exception handling, with a focus on maintaining data accuracy and integrity.


Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain master reference tables, ensuring they are current and effectively support transaction validation and reporting needs.
  • Support the transaction management team in applying validation logic to charge data as needed.
  • Continuously review and improve data validation rules to enhance the precision and efficiency of the intercompany charge process.
  • Propose and implement data management framework and governance policies.
  • Providing ongoing support for queries or issues related to master data management.
  • Communicate complex data concepts and changes in processes clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding.
  • Deliver precise and actionable reports related to intercompany charges in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in analyzing data sets, validating intercompany transactions, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Expertise in managing and updating master reference tables to support validation requirements and facilitate accurate reporting.
  • Ability to identify inefficiencies in data processes and implement enhancements, including the development of more effective validation rules.
  • SAP Hands-on experience
  • Proficiency in MS-Excel
  • Total 3 to 5 years of experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical data concepts and process changes to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Aptitude for working with cross-functional teams to address data-related challenges and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Commitment to managing and responding to reporting requests with a focus on providing timely and accurate information to support decision-making.
