The Assistant Manager - Finance will support financial planning, business case evaluation, and cost monitoring initiatives across functions. The role involves reviewing Business Case Approvals (BCAs), analyzing financial and operational data, tracking project performance, and generating MIS reports to support decision-making and financial governance.

To ensure robust financial evaluation, governance, and tracking of business cases and operational expenses by analyzing cost structures, validating assumptions, and enabling data-driven decision-making for business growth and efficiency.

Business Case Approval (BCA) Support

• Review BCAs submitted by various functions as per defined templates and guidelines
• Validate operational inputs, cost assumptions, sizing data, and business justifications
• Ensure adherence to approval matrices, timelines, and financial policies
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Finance, Admin/RE) for inputs
• Track BCA status and maintain proper documentation and audit trails
• Prepare MIS reports and trackers for BCAs, budgets, and post-implementation performance
• Monitor project performance post BCA approval and highlight deviations.

Financial Analysis & MIS Reporting

• Prepare periodic MIS reports related to budgets, expenses, and project performance
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
• Support management with insights for cost optimization and efficiency.

Excess Baggage Report Analysis

• Manage and review commercial airline MIS related to excess baggage
• Analyze reports to identify cost drivers, anomalies, and trends
• Share actionable insights and recommendations with stakeholders.

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with financial policies, approval frameworks, and audit requirements
• Maintain proper documentation for internal and external audits
• Support implementation of financial controls and process improvements.

Stakeholder Management

.Collaborate with internal teams for data collection, validation, and reporting

• Provide financial insights to support operational and strategic decisions.

Education:

• Graduate in Commerce / Finance / Accounting

Experience:

.4-7 years of experience in financial analysis, MIS, budgeting, or business finance roles

• Experience in logistics, supply chain, or similar industry preferred.

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, and cost control
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MIS reporting tools
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred).
