Role Description

1. To oversee Accounts Payable (AP) / Accounts Receivable (AR) operational activities of Finance and to provide Accounts Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR) reports as inputs for management decision makings.

2. To assist the Finance Manager & Assistant Accountant / Group Accountant on Account Payable (AP) & Account Receivable (AR) accounting activities of the company.

3. To provide accurate and timely management information for decision making.

4. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Accounts Payables and Receivables professionals. Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure the team meets departmental goals.

5. Streamline and enhance the accounts payables and receivables processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. Evaluate and implement best practices to drive operational excellence.

6. Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and clients to ensure smooth payment and collection processes. Negotiate payment terms and resolve any billing discrepancies or disputes.

7. Forecast cash flow requirements and coordinate with other departments to ensure adequate funds for operations and implement strategies to optimize working capital.

8. Oversee the implementation and utilization of accounting software and tools to improve efficiency and accuracy. Collaborate with IT teams to address any technical issues or enhancements.

9. To liaise with Bankers, Auditors, Tax Agents, Lawyer and Government Bodies on finance and admin related matters.

10. To undertake any duties and responsibilities assigned by the immediate superior..

Requirements

1. Degree in Accountancy / Professional qualification in Finance or Accounting.

2. Minimum 5 years relevant working experience.

3. Good interpersonal and leadership skills.

4. Well Organized, detailed, analytical, systematic, and cost conscious.

5. Trustworthy in keeping company's confidential matters and trade secrets.

6. Computer literate, Ms Excel (Intermediate/advance). Experience in IFCA.net system and ERP implementation are an added advantage.

7. Knowledge in legal and other requirements, and good environmental, safety and health practices.

8. Experience in Construction industry is an added advantage
