Key Responsibilities:
- Support assessment proceedings with tax authorities.
- Liaise with tax authorities for ongoing matters.
- Draft rectification applications and related submissions.
- Conduct research on direct tax and transfer pricing issues, and prepare technical submissions.
- Prepare replies to be filed before tax authorities (penalty proceedings, stay of demand, demand adjustment, appeal effect applications, etc.).
- Prepare and file corporate tax returns.
- Independently handle TDS returns.
- Prepare advance tax computations based on estimates.
- Assist in advising on international tax matters, including interpreting provisions of Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements (DTAA).
Key Interfaces:
- Internal: Manufacturing, Legal, Sales & Marketing, Senior Management.
- External: Auditors, Consultants.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Improved communication and collaboration with regional finance managers.
- Timely and accurate support for strategic & annual planning.
- Reliable forecasting and re-estimates.

Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (20212024 batch).
Experience:
- 14 years of relevant tax experience (Big 4 preferred) and/or MNC.
- Exposure to corporate tax and international taxation.

- Strong knowledge of corporate tax and international tax regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; attention to detail.
- Business acumen with adaptability in dynamic environments.
