Job Title: Assistant Manager - Finance

Location: Gurugram, Sector-67

Timing: 10:00 am to 7:00 pm

Working days: Monday to Friday (WFO) and Saturday (WFH)

Experience: 2-4 Years of Experience

Salary: As per the market standard

We are looking for a driven and experienced Performance Marketing Manager to take ownership of our paid digital channels and drive significant growth.

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Assistant Manager Finance who will be responsible for financial analysis, cash flow management, working capital planning, and business forecasting. The role requires strong expertise in advanced Excel and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.

Job Responsibilities

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Lead the annual budgeting process, includingfinancialforecasting and variance analysis.
  • Monitor and analyse actual vs. budgeted performance; provide actionable insights and recommendations.

Internal Controls

  • Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal controls to ensurefinancialintegrity and safeguard assets.
  • Conduct regular audits to evaluate control effectiveness and recommend improvements.

Cash Flow Management

  • Oversee cash flow planning to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs.
  • Optimise working capital through effective management of receivables, payables, and inventory.

Compliance & Taxation

  • Ensure compliance with statutory and tax regulations; ensure timely tax filings.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies as needed.

FinancialAnalysis

  • Provide analytical support for strategic decisions and business planning.
  • Evaluatefinancialperformance by comparing actual results with forecasts and budgets.

Team Management

  • Lead and mentor the plantfinanceteam, promoting professional development and accountability.
  • Assign responsibilities, set performance goals, and conduct regular evaluations.

Systems & Processes

  • Oversee the use and enhancement offinancialsystems and software to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and secure storage offinancialrecords.

Risk Management

  • Identify and mitigatefinancialrisks using appropriate risk management strategies.
  • Advise senior management onfinancialrisks and opportunities.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in ERP andfinancialsystems (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks)
  • Advanced Excel skills and strongfinancialmodelling capabilities
  • Leadership and team development
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

  • CA / MBA Finance with relevant experience
  • 24 years of experience in finance, preferably in business finance or FP&A

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in startups / high-growth companies

Exposure to fundraising and investor reporting is a plus
