Job Description

Aster Medcity is seeking a dedicated Assistant Manager Engineering & Maintenance at MIMS Hospital Calicut. The ideal candidate will support the management of the engineering and maintenance department, ensuring smooth operations, adherence to policies, and efficient management of resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise a team of engineering and maintenance staff.
  • Implement departmental policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Support planning, scheduling, and execution of maintenance activities.
  • Monitor performance metrics and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Assist in budgeting, resource allocation, and procurement of tools and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to team members.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support hospital operations and infrastructure needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in engineering or maintenance management, preferably in healthcare or facility management.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, equipment maintenance, and safety protocols.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to implement policies and streamline departmental operations.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
