Grey cast iron, SG iron and CGCI foundry (Housings/Rocker Arm/Tappet development experience starting from freezing of design, Tooling manufacturing concepts & able to develop product with FTR concept & SOVP within minimum time and least rejection.
Must have full knowledge of
casting drawing/3d model knowledge.
Must have good knowledge of
Foundry molding/
Core making.
Requirements
- Focussed approach towards continuous and sutainable improvement in foundry processes and customer quality indices.
- Proactive actions to ensure adequate process controls for preventing defects at all stages in the process as well as products (castings).
- Develop FTR Castings within time targets through effective design reviews, tool design inputs/reviews, right methoding alongwith proper process flow (sand parameters to core making to moulding process).
- Coordination & review with Tooling manufacturer including methoding concept finalization & timelines.
- PPAP Approvals of new as well as ECN Castings.
- Regular monitoring of castings during production ramp up and volume production.
- Overall monitoring of pattern shop activities which includes tool maintenance, action planning to minimize rejections & improvement activities.
- Drive Kaizens, Yellow belt/Green belt projects, QMS practices in line .
- Identify training needs & provide technical training ( methoding concept, PFMEA, Control Plan, Process Flow diagram etc) to team members.
- Drive safety & 5S activities within department.
