About The Role
This role will lead design and development of AC & BLDC motors for HVAC applications.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of AC & BLDC motors for HVAC applications.
- Manage complete NPD lifecycle from concept to mass production.
- Drive motor testing, validation, and regulatory compliance.
- Handle field issues, reliability improvement, and cost optimization.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCCA) and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Controls, Manufacturing, Sourcing).
- Support localization, supplier development, and industrialization activities.
Education Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in electrical / Electronic Engineering.
Experience Preferred
Overall: 1015 Years (Minimum 510 years hands-on experience in motor design and development)

Essential Competencies/ Primary Skill Set
- Strong expertise in AC & BLDC motor design for HVAC applications
- Deep understanding of electromagnetic, thermal & mechanical fundamentals
- Hands-on experience in motor testing, validation & efficiency compliance
- Proven Root Cause Analysis (RCCA) and problem-solving capability
- End-to-end NPD and project management experience
- Exposure to inverter-driven motors & drive integration
- Cross-functional coordination and supplier management skills
Desirable Competencies/ Secondary Skill Set
- Experience with motor simulation tools (Motor-CAD / ANSYS / JMAG)
- Knowledge of global energy efficiency standards (IE2 / IE3 / IE4)
- Experience in localization & alternate source qualification
- Supplier technical evaluation & development experience
- Exposure to global product development environment
- Understanding of manufacturing process optimization & cost reduction initiatives
