Senior Engineer/Assistant Manager- Electrical Design
Location-Bangalore, India
Function-Product and Project Engineering
Reporting Line-Will report to Senior Engineering Manager
Number of Reports-Team to be managed around 10
Employment Contract Type -Permanent/Full-Time
Education-Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
Languages-Fluent English knowledge with conversant in local language added advantage.
Experience -Approximately 10-14 Years of job experience in Power Electronics, Electrical Design Engineering.
Job Summary And Scope
Responsible for electrical design and engineering of Solar Inverter, BESS, Skids, alternate component validation, simulation of power system and certification of products.
ACTIVITIES IN THE TEAM
Experience in product and project engineering BOM, schematics.
Hands-on experience with design, engineering for solar skids, inverter, BESS converter.
Testing, verifying, validation and approval of the alternate components should costing.
Product Reliability, fault co-ordination study, arc flash, EMI/EMC studies.
Sizing of switchgear, fuses, power supply, transformers other critical electrical components
Simulation (MATLAB, ETAB) for solar inverter application.
Certification of solar inverter as per IEC, UL and country grid code.
Product documentation, Component test document validation etc.
Site Failure Analysis (RCA) of the Products and provide suitable support to resolve issues
Working Knowledge of SAP S4 Hana System and Agile in an added advantage
Cross functional coordination with quality, production, software, sales service team
Technical Skills Must Have
Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP S4)
Sizing of switchgear, fuses on ETAP
CAD, EPLAN tools for GA and schematics
NICE TO HAVE
Simulation (MATLAB).

Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
Communicate with stakeholders, customers, suppliers, certification agencies.
