Job Description

Role Overview

The Assistant Manager E-commercewill be responsible for managing marketplace operations across Amazon and other e-commerce/quick commerce platforms. The role involves overseeing return management, account health, claim handling, visibility optimization, compliance, and leading the team to ensure smooth marketplace operations and sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Marketplace Operations & Return Management

  • Track and monitor returns across marketplaces on a daily basis.
  • Manage A-to-Z claims and dispute handling (Amazon).
  • Prepare and submit Plan of Action (POA) for listing/account issues.
  • Monitor LSP complaints and take corrective actions.
  • Track FBA removals and ensure proper reconciliation.
  • Oversee end-to-end claim management process.

2. Account Health & Compliance

  • Conduct weekly review of account health dashboards.
  • Monitor key metrics: ODR, LDR, Seller Ratings, Return Rate.
  • Ensure compliance with marketplace policies and guidelines.
  • Monitor policy updates and marketplace announcements.
  • Handle brand registry cases and intellectual property protection (Amazon).

3. Customer & Seller Support Management

  • Ensure customer queries are responded to within 24 hours.
  • Maintain high seller ratings through proactive issue resolution.
  • Handle escalations and ensure fair resolution of disputes.

4. Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Prepare monthly performance reports.
  • Conduct regular audits of account performance.
  • Identify operational gaps and recommend corrective measures.

5. Documentation & Record Maintenance

  • Maintain invoices, shipping documents, claims records, and compliance documentation.
  • Ensure proper data recording and reconciliation.

Experience:

  • 35+ years of experience in marketplace management (Amazon & other e-commerce platforms).

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart and Qcom marketplace dashboards.
  • Understanding of account health metrics and compliance policies.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills (Excel proficiency required).
  • Experience in return and claim management processes.
  • Hands on experience on reconciliation reports.
