Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • To meet the defined target number of calls and revenue through sourcing out leads and selling conference and exhibition packages to the potential delegates.
  • To research and qualify, sell and negotiate with potential clients and delegates.
  • To have a good understanding of the conference program USP and be able to effectively articulate the event information and provide a persuasive message to prospects, that may require some customization based on the prospect's background/industry sector and business needs; provide them complete information, event collaterals etc. in timely manner when requested.
  • To manage the accounts of both new and existing delegates and to register delegates.
  • To keep track and updated knowledge and comprehension of Messe Frankfurt's calendar of conferences and exhibitions.
  • To ensure you can effectively articulate the event information.
  • To follow up on due payments and ensure timely closure on the same
  • To record and update all delegate bookings in Excel and CRM system
  • To perform allocated duties onsite at conference venue, as required.

Role Description:

This role will be responsible for increasing revenues through selling Conferences and Events. This will encompass services to customers, contract negotiations with customers.

To handle enquires on the telephone and ensure that all sales administration is completed to a high standard including general correspondences, producing mailings, letter writing and keeping an updated and effective database.

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent

4-5 years plus work experience in delegates sales profile

Skills:

Proven experience in delegate sales or related field

Strong communication and negotiation skills

Ability to build and maintain client relationships

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to work well under pressure and meet targets

Experience in the events or conference industry is a plus
