Job Description

Broad outline of the Role

Responsible for enhancement of existing or new development of network (or network tower) architecture and components as per the business requirements within the set timeline. This is an operational role, responsible for delivering results that have direct impact on day-to-day platform planning and network operations.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

Technical/ Engineering degree with 4-7 years of relevant experience

Other Knowledge & Skills

Experience of network planning and implementation across multiple layers
Experience in lifecycle management of network infrastructure
Experience in sizing/design the infrastructure.
Experience on network migration tools
Good technical knowledge for analysing the logs and troubleshooting the issue.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure timely rollout of network enhancement and optimization projects.
Involved in the design of the network (or network tower) architecture and network equipment planning.
Perform technical analysis of software, hardware, and network systems, systems engineering for front-end processors, multiplexes, LAN or WAN communications, network nodes, switches, tower analysis and various transmission systems.
Analyse traffic flows and trends, route planning, network optimisation, routing solutions and forecast of traffic.
Perform integration with existing systems and conduct service validation prior to hand over to Service Operations team.
Direct the assurance team in adopting measures for fault rate and ticket rate reduction.
Support the service assurance during network failure situations.
Support Pre-Sales team for non-standard solution or any new platform or technology solution evaluation and testing.
Involved in strengthening or maintenance work for existing telecom tower and telecom tower foundation.
